Resolution 207 - 17/2000


Adopted on June 18, 2000 at the ISO/TC 207 8th plenary in Stockholm
  • ISO/TC207 agrees to issue a four-month letter ballot to decide on establishing an NGO Task Group with the terms of reference, deliverables, timeframe, and membership as detailed in document N419
  • If the results of the letter ballot are positive, the NGO Task Group will proceed as described in document N419 and the NGO Contact Group will be considered disbanded
  • If the results of the letter ballot are negative, ISO/TXC207 agrees that the NGO Contact Group with expanded membership from NGOs nominated by their member bodies and liaison organisations, will continue its work to further develop information on the issues identified in document N418
  • In either case, ISO/TC 207 asks its member bodies to share experiences and best practice
